We also automatically process cookies. You can find the conditions for processing cookies here.

Why we collect and process your personal data

We process your personal data for the following reasons:

  • Purchase of goods and services: primarily, we process your personal data to properly process and deliver your order. If any problems arise, thanks to your personal data, we know who to contact.
  • Customer care: if you contact us with a query / problem, we must process your data to answer / resolve it. In some cases, personal data may also be transferred to third parties (e.g., a goods carrier).
  • User account: thanks to the personal data you provide us in your user profile, a number of useful functions will be made available to you (e.g., if you provide your phone number, we can easily inform you when your order will be delivered). You can change the data you have entered at any time, except for the email address, which is used to access your user account.
  • Marketing activities:
    • Email marketing: we send you email commercial communications based on your consent. You can easily unsubscribe from receiving commercial communications by adjusting the settings of your user profile or by calling our infoline available at +421 432 304 850. If you create multiple user profiles under which you provide the same contact details (e.g., you have several accounts for different email addresses, but the phone number is the same on all accounts), for technical reasons, it is not possible to unsubscribe from receiving commercial communications for all user profiles based on automated processes. In such a case, to unsubscribe from receiving commercial communications for all user profiles, you need to contact us by phone or via the contact form.
    • Marketing competitions: in some cases, the winner of a competition may be photographed or filmed, especially to increase the transparency of our marketing competitions. We carry out this processing of personal data based on our legitimate interest, which consists in increasing the credibility of marketing competitions in the eyes of other competitors and increasing the attractiveness of these competitions. You can object to this processing.
  • Improving our services: using your order history and website behavior, we can offer more relevant offers for other goods, e.g., accessories for purchased products. In certain places, we display products that are directly for you and correspond to your needs and interests. To optimize elements on the web, we may also use tools for testing different variants (so-called A/B testing), Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc.
  • Customer reviews of goods and services: after you purchase goods or services from us, you may be asked to review them. A review can also be inserted on your own initiative.
  • Enforcement of rights and legal claims and controls by public authorities: we may also process your personal data because we need them to enforce our rights and legal claims (e.g., if you have an outstanding debt towards us). Furthermore, we may process your personal data because we need them for the purposes of controls carried out by public authorities and for other similarly serious reasons.

We process personal data on these legal bases

Performance and conclusion of a contract

We need a large part of your personal data to even be able to conclude a purchase or other contract with you regarding the goods or services you wish to purchase from us. Once the contract is concluded, we process your personal data to properly deliver the purchased goods to you, or to properly provide the purchased services to you. Based on this legal reason, we therefore primarily process billing and delivery data.

Legitimate interests

We also use your personal data to provide you with relevant content, i.e., content that is interesting to you. Based on a legitimate interest, we process primarily personal data that we process automatically and cookies. For the same legal reason, we may send you email and SMS messages as our customers.

Consent

For the purposes of sending commercial communications (email marketing) and telemarketing, we process your personal data based on your consent. If you give us your consent to the processing of personal data, you can revoke it at any time via our contact form.

Transfer of personal data to third parties

In these cases, we transfer your personal data to third parties:

  • Delivery of goods: your chosen carrier would never be able to deliver the ordered goods to you if we did not, among other things, hand over the data on where and to whom specifically the goods are to be delivered. We pass these data to the carrier according to how you fill them in the order. Data transferred in this way include primarily your name and surname, delivery address, phone number at which the carrier can contact you, and if the goods were not paid in advance, also possibly the amount to be paid upon receipt of the goods. The carrier is, in relation to the personal data we pass to them, authorized to process them only for the purpose of delivering the goods and then to delete the personal data without delay.
  • Payment cards: our company does not have data on the payment cards with which you pay us. Data about your payment cards are only available to the secure payment gateway and the relevant banking institution.
  • Commercial communications: in the case of sending commercial communications (e.g., by email or via SMS messages), we may use a third party for forwarding or phone calls. This entity is bound by confidentiality and must not use your personal data for any other purpose.
  • State authorities: in the case of enforcement of our rights, your personal data may be transferred to a third party (e.g., a lawyer). If the legal order or a state authority (e.g., the Police of the Slovak Republic) imposes an obligation on us to hand over your personal data to them, we must do so, while you can object to this via our contact form.

How long do we process your personal data?

First and foremost, we will process your data for the entire duration of the contractual relationship between us.

In the case of processing personal data for which consent has been granted, your personal data will generally be processed for a period of 7 years, or until such consent is revoked.

If you subscribe to commercial messages, we will process your personal data for a period of 7 years, or until you express your disagreement with their further sending. You can easily express this disagreement by adjusting the settings of your user profile or calling our infoline available at +421 432 304 850.

Furthermore, please note that those personal data that are strictly necessary for the proper provision of services, or for fulfilling all our obligations, whether these obligations arise from a contract between us or from generally binding legal regulations, must be processed regardless of your consent for the period specified by the relevant legal regulations or in accordance with them (e.g., for tax documents, this period is at least 10 years).

Data obtained through a user account or in another similar way, we process for the duration of the use of our services and usually 5 years after their cancellation. Subsequently, usually only basic identification data and information about why the user account was canceled or data forming part of operational backups are stored for a reasonable time.
